In terms of growing your business, this is one of my favourite questions.

The best time to do it is when one of your clients is singing your praises for a job well done.

Ask the question, then sit back and wait for the response.

You will either be met with:

  1. I didn’t know that you offered any other services – what else can you help me with; or
  2. No thank you.

If met with the second answer, you can follow up with:

“Is there anyone else you know who would benefit from our services.”

These questions follow on from my preferred method of “serving” your clients, not “selling” to them.

By asking your clients you are serving them better.
