It’s a good question to ask, but I prefer the opposite: “If everyone else is doing it, I should seriously consider throwing myself off a cliff before I do it too!”
When it comes to marketing a service based businesses, 99% of people are doing it wrong, and drastically wrong.
They have websites which are not producing 20-100 new client enquiries a month, newspaper advertisements with their logo at the top which never make the telephone ring, and they never receive referrals from other businesses that are already in contact with their next 100 clients.
