When I talk about blogging, everyone then asks me “How long should my blog posts be then Nick?”
The very simple answer is that they should be as long or as short as they need to be to answer the question that you are answering for your prospects.
My top performing blog on my website is 1,500 words long, but don’t let that scare you, as another excellent source of traffic to my blog is only around 250 words long.
Whilst Google generally needs 400 words or more to assess what a page of content is all about, there are always exceptions to this rule.
If your topic of blog post is good enough, you will be rewarded with traffic, however long or short it is.
So how do you make your content good enough?
Well, tomorrow, I am going to show you a trick that I use to come up with lots of good ideas for new blog posts.
It is a really useful tool that you probably haven’t heard about before, but once you know about it you will probably use it once or twice a week.
Make sure you don’t miss it, because as well as helping you to come up with ideas for blog posts, it also allows you to spy on your competitors to see what they are up to on their website. It’s free too, which always helps.
