What Is The Easiest Way To Grow Your Business?

Would you like the answer to this question? I am guessing you are nodding your head. After all, it is a good question, isn’t it? The good news is that the answer is incredibly simple. The easiest way to grow your business is to sell more services to your existing clients.

What Is The Easiest Way To Grow Your Business?

I have always known this to be true, yet I have to confess that in my own business I fought it for ages. I didn’t want to appear ‘pushy’ or ‘salesy’ so I rarely, if ever, asked clients if I could help them with anything else. I even went as far as removing my existing clients from any email that sold anything.

Guess what, some of them went out of their way to find these emails and buy my other services.

It was at that point that I realised I was being incredibly stupid. My clients were telling me that they wanted me to do more for them. They didn’t think that I was being salesy or pushy, they thought that I was being helpful.

I didn’t realise this overnight. I realised it over a period of years. Years of lost revenue and lost profits because I was trying to be thoughtful to my clients. Worse still, years of my clients not earning as much as they could because I was depriving them of my services.

I hurt my business and theirs. How foolish.

I share this story, which still makes me feel somewhat nauseous to this day, to ensure that you do not make the same mistake.

If you want to grow your business. If you are really serious about growing your business right now – you have to sell more services to your existing clients.

It must be a congruent service; one that totally ties in with what you already do for your clients, but offer that service you should if you want to grow your business.

Well, as Clint Eastwood would say, do you punk? Do it! Go ahead, make my day.
